RTX 4050 graphics cards are, to be honest not exactly entry-level graphics cards. They're mid-level graphics cards which have got great potential and power. These graphics cards will offer a great gaming experience.
Let's take a look at who has managed to make these laptops for the cheapest.

MSI Thin GF63
Cheapest RTX 4050 Laptop
The laptop looks like great value for money, but when you look deeper, it's not the same story. Yes, it is an RTX 4050, but not the one you're expecting.

Buy from AmazonProcessor: Intel Core i5-12450H
RAM: 8GB DDR4 RAM
Graphics Card: NVIDIA RTX 4050 45W TGP
Storage: 512 GB SSD
Display: 15.6-in Display
MSI has created the cheapest gaming laptop with an RTX 4050 at just ₹86,989. But the price has a few caveats. The TGP value of the RTX 4050 is a bit low so the performance might not be as much as expected. The lower TDP value is so that the laptop does not overheat after gaming for long hours.
TDP is the amount of heat dissipated by the graphics card, which also can mean how much it is performing. A high-performing graphics card will have a higher TDP. The TDP of the RTX 4050 in this laptop is just 45W which means it will provide only little performance. RTX 4050 can have a TDP of up to 140W but on this laptop it is limted to 45.
The laptop comes with Windows 11 preinstalled.
The processor in the laptop is an Intel Core i5-12450H processor. The processor is an 8-core processor (4 performance and 4 efficiency cores). This makes it great for gaming as it can handle all the decoding and other tasks required by the processor to do while gaming.
With 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of SSD storage, there is very little that is wrong with the laptop. You can always upgrade the RAM or the SSD so that the laptop can have more performance or more storage. RAM sticks are becoming cheaper nowadays and it is easy performance at very little money.
The laptop is of great build quality and has brushed aluminium on top for a premium feel. The trackpad is also great to type.
The heat vents at the bottom help dissipate temperature efficiently and are great for long hours of gaming.
In short, we don't recommend getting the MSI laptop because of the low TDP. Even though the graphics card is an RTX 4050, the performance offered is very low than that the graphics card can perform at.
MSI Cyborg 15
A laptop that is seriously underpowered

Processor: Intel Core i5-12450H
RAM: 16GB DDR4 RAM
Graphics Card: NVIDIA RTX 4050 45W TGP
Storage: 512 GB SSD
Display: 15.6-in Display
Price: ₹89,989
This laptop carries with it the same story as MSI Thin since the graphics card in this laptop also has a TGP of only 45W. The performance is way low than that is expected.
The difference between the Cyborg and the Thin is the chassis. The laptop has better Chassis than the Thin.
The laptop looks more classy with the neon green backlit keyboard rather than the red keyboard which is offered by the MSI Thin laptop. The vents are better at cooling.
The laptop comes with 16GB of DDR4 RAM as opposed to the 8GB in the MSI Thin.
Overall, if you want a laptop with an RTX 4050 laptop you can go for this laptop but the lack of a great TGP value is a big deterrent. This means that the laptop will not be able to offer the performance that the original RTX 4050 provides.
Acer Predator Helios Neo 16
Best RTX 4050 Laptop
This is the laptop which we want you to buy if you're looking for a proper gaming laptop with RTX 4050. Acer has spared nothing with this laptop.

Processor: Intel Core i5-13500HX
RAM: 16GB DDR4 RAM
Graphics Card: NVIDIA RTX 4050 140W TGP
Storage: 512 GB SSD
Display: 15.6-in Display
Price: ₹1,09,989
This is the laptop which makes sure that the RTX 4050 graphics card works at its full potential. Acer has given this laptop's graphics card a TGP of 140W. This means that it gets all the power to work to its full potential.
The processor in the laptop is a 13th Generation Intel Core i5-13500HX processor. The processor is a lot more powerful than the one found on the MSI laptops. The processor has a total of 14 cores (6 performance cores and 8 efficient cores), which makes sure that you can extract all the power from the graphics card that is available.
The keyboard on the laptop is RGB backlit with 4-zone separation. Even though the laptop is RGB lit, it is not per key lit instead it is divided into 4 zones and you can adjust the colour of the zones.
The Aeroblade fans on the laptop keep the laptop cool even after long hours of gaming. This is great news since one of the main issues with laptops is overheating.
The display on the laptop is a 16" IPS display. It has a resolution of 1920x1080 and a brightness of 400 nits. The display has a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a response time of 3ms.
The laptop comes with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD. The fact that it comes with 16GB RAM shows that Acer has spared nothing. It has ensured that they build a laptop that is worthy of gaming.
Conclusion
The main thing we want to let you know while buying a gaming laptop, is to look at the TDP rating of the graphics card. This is something we all tend to overlook. We might think, "Oh, it has got an RTX 4050", but remember most of them are underclocked and you might not get the performance you expect.
Happy gaming. :)
