Strangely, we tend to equate cheap with low quality, but that's not true always. Here we are presenting the cheapest and the best RTX 2060 laptops in India.
Yes, you get better features for the premium price, but then it is not always a necessity. So take a look at our list and have your pick the laptop with the best RTX 2060 graphics card.
With the introduction of new RTX 30 series graphics cards, the 20 series have become extremely affordable. This has made it much easier to afford an RTX 2060 graphics card.
RTX (Ray Tracing)
Ray tracing(RTX) is the new technology by which the light particles in games are traced to get a perfect reflection. If that sounds a bit not understandable, don't worry, after listing the laptops, we have written a detailed guide on ray tracing, whether all games support them, and a multitude of other questions.
Ray tracing is a rendering technique that produces high-class lighting effects. The results are extremely close to real life in comparison to those that don't feature ray tracing.
If you find these to be a bit too expensive, I've found that there are RTX 3050 laptops and even some RTX 3060 that are cheaper than these . If you want machines with Ray Tracing for cheap, that's your best bet.
One of the things I want you to notice in particular is to not get carried away by the graphics card, but also to take a look into the other essential specs about the laptop such as processor, RAM and other essential parts.
Let's start with the cheapest laptop to get ray tracing.
ASUS TUF DASH F15 (2021)

Buy from AmazonProcessor: 11th Gen Intel Core i5-11300H Processor
RAM: 16GB DDR4 RAM
Graphics Card: Dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GDDR6 6GB VRAM
Storage: 512GB SSD
Display: 15.6" FHD (1920x1080)
I've been researching and writing a lot of articles on RTX laptops recently and one of the things I have noticed is that most of the lists are topped by Asus laptops. They have created great machines at great prices and it comes to as little surprise that this list has Asus laptops.
This machine is powered by an 11th-generation Intel Core i5 processor or more generally, the i5-11350G processor. There used to be days when i5 was not powerful enough for gaming, but not anymore.
The i5 processor in this machine has a quad-core processor and supports multithreading taking the thread count to a total of 8. With a base clock speed of 3.1 GHz and a maximum turbo clock speed of 4.4GHz, this processor does all the heavy work and aids the laptop during long hours of gaming.
Being a gaming laptop, Asus has given a free one-month subscription to the Xbox gaming pass. It gives you access to most Microsoft games on your laptop for a month.
The graphics section of the laptop is handled by an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card. The card has enough power to handle all the games of today. Oh wait, that is an RTX 3060 and not 2060 as promised. That is because I wanted to prove my point about RTX 3060 being cheaper today than RTX 2060 laptops.
I went around Amazon looking for laptops and all I could see was that the RTX 3060 laptops were cheaper than the 2060 ones. I don't know why. But now your question will be, so what about performance?
According to UserBenchmark, the RTX 3060 is faster than the RTX 2060 by around 11%. Beyond that, in my opinion, RTX 30 series packs a lot of cool software and hardware features (such as AI-based rendering) which will make your gaming sessions a lot more smooth.
Now on to memory and storage. The laptop has 16 GB DDR4 memory (2 x 8GB). One of the memory sticks is onboard which means you can't remove it. The other is removable and you can upgrade it with a 16GB stick, giving you a total of 24GB of RAM.
The storage in the laptop is 1 512 GB SSD. The SSD is fast and makes your game load times and your laptop load times a lot slower.
The display on the laptop is a 15.6 FHD display with a resolution of 1920x1080. A high refresh rate of 144Hz will help you have a massive advantage while giving.
Also, the laptop comes with MS Office Home and Student 2019 with lifetime validity. I think that is a great thing considering most of us need it and are using pirated versions.
ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DV

Buy from AmazonProcessor: AMD Ryzen 7-3750H Processor
RAM: 16GB DDR4 RAM
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GDDR6 6GB VRAM
Storage: PCIe NVMe 512GB M.2 SSD
Display: 15.6" (16:9) LED-backlit FHD (1920x1080)
The cheapest RTX laptop is the ASUS TUF gaming FX505DV. At a price of less than 1 lakh, there is no other laptop other than this one. So if you're out to find one in the year 2020, this is the one for you.
To make an RTX laptop this cheap, ASUS decided to cut some corners. This starts with the processor. The laptop features an AMD Ryzen 7-3750H. So the question is, are we upset with this processor? Not.
We love the AMD Ryzen processor. Yes, it falls a bit short when compared to the Intel counterpart, but for this price range, it is an extreme value-for-money purchase. The processor doesn't bottleneck the graphics card and we are happy.
The processor is a quad-core processor, which means it has 4 cores and each core has two threads taking the total thread count to 8. The processor also has an integrated graphics card, but we are not too interested in that part of things since we have a dedicated RTX graphics card.
The processor comes with a base speed of 2.3GHz which can go all the way up to 4.0GHz with a boost. The processor throttles at 105 degrees C and that is a pretty high mark compared to Intel's usual 100 degrees.
Now to the party piece. The RTX 2060 is a great graphics card with the latest offerings from Nvidia. The graphics card is based on Turing architecture and has 6GB of GDDR6 frame buffer. The graphics card has a boost clock speed of 1680MHz. We will talk about all this in detail.
For RAM, ASUS has made sure that it has put in as much as needed. 16GB. 16GB of RAM is enough for all the tasks that you can dream up for a laptop in this price range. The RAM is 2400MHz Dual-Channel RAM and is upgradable up to 32 GB which you most probably wouldn't need.
For storage, the laptop comes with 512 GB of SSD. You can put a few games and some movies with relative ease on this SSD and since it is an SSD it is extremely fast. You'll find that the game loading times are significantly lower than on an HDD.
Now let us talk about the display. The laptop features a 15.6" LED back-lit Full HD display. The display has a refresh rate of 120Hz which is huge. Usually, laptops come with a refresh rate of 60Hz. The 120Hz refresh rate will ensure that there is no ghosting while gaming. Also, the display has an anti-glare IPS level panel with 45% NTSC.
The laptop comes preloaded with Windows 10 Home. The laptop weighs around 2.2 kg, which is normal when compared to a gaming laptop.
The laptop also has hyper-cool technology which keeps the laptop cool even after intense gaming. The laptop has a powerful Dual Fan design to keep the air flowing easily and a Fan Overboost Technology which increases the speed of the fan when required.
The laptop is great and is a must-buy if you're on a budget.
If you want to explore some other laptops which cost a bit more than this here are a few other options:
- MSI GF65 Thin 9SEXR-438IN
- ASUS ROG Zephyrus M15
- Lenovo Legion Y540
- ASUS ROG Strix Scar
- MSI GF65 Thin 10SER-464IN
- Dell Alienware m15
MSI GF65 Thin 9SEXR-438IN

Buy from AmazonProcessor: Intel Core i5-9300H 9th Gen processor
RAM: 8GB DDR4 RAM
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060
Storage: 512GB NVMe M.2 SSD
Display: 15.6" FHD (1920x1080)
This is the second cheapest laptop on this list and to bring the price down, they've gone with Intel itself, but a lower version. The Intel i5-9300H processor.
The processor is a 9th-generation Intel processor and performs pretty well. The processor is a quad-core processor with each core having two threads making the total thread count 8.
The processor has a base speed of 2.40 GHz which can go all the way up to 4.10 GHz with a turbo boost. This helps when the game loads and plays special parts which are more CPU intensive than GPU-intensive.
The graphics card is RTX 2060 and for this price range, I don't think it is possible to get a laptop with a bigger graphics card. We will discuss more on the graphics card later.
MSI also decided that they cannot put 16GB of RAM into the machine and make it profitable and therefore added only 8GB of RAM, which is a bit sad. But RAM is always upgradable and you can upgrade it any day you want. Also, RAM sticks are relatively cheap, so we wouldn't worry much.
For storage MSI also has gone the way of ASUS and has given the laptop a 512 decent GB SSD. You can store some games, a few movies and songs or photos if you want. The speed at which the operating system boots will amaze you for the first time because of the extremely performant SSD.
The laptop comes preloaded with Windows 10 operating system. The processor is a 64-bit operating system and comes with a lifetime warranty.
The display of laptop is a 15.6" Full HD display. The screen has a resolution of 1920x1080 and looks amazing.
The laptop comes with a 2-year carry-in warranty from MSI covering manufacturing defects and does not cover physical damage.
Overall this is a great laptop and another great option as the cheapest RTX 2060 laptop.
ASUS ROG Zephyrus M15

Buy from AmazonProcessor: Intel Core i7-10750H Processor 2.6 GHz
RAM: 16GB DDR4 RAM
Graphics Card: Nvidia RTX 2060 6GB Graphics
Storage: 1TB SSd
Display: 15.6" FHD (1920x1080)
But what if you want a very thin laptop that is ultraportable so you can take it to your office every day? The laptop which I would suggest is the ASUS ROG Zephyrus. I was not a big fan of ASUS until my brother brought one and the only downside I could find with it was the lack of a webcam. But then video calling is not why we bought the laptop in the first place.
Featuring the 10th generation Intel processor has increased the performance capabilities of this laptop drastically compared to the previous laptops in this list. The only reason this laptop is down here is that it is on the pricier side of things. At the time of writing the laptop costs around 1.4 lakhs.
The exact processor in the laptop is an Intel Core i7-10750H. Most of the top-of-the-line laptops feature this very same processor. This makes this laptop excellent for tasks such as video editing rather than for gaming. When you want to do gaming, the factor that needs the most consideration is the graphics card. This is because the role that the CPU plays while gaming is very little. On the other hand, tasks such as video editing are heavily dependent on both CPU and GPU making it necessary to have a balance.
The processor has a base speed of 2.6GHz which can go all the way up to 5.0GHz making it suitable for multitasking and other heavy tasks. It features 6 cores with each core having two threads. The multiple threads will help handle multitasking with relative ease.
The best part about this laptop is the portability that it offers. While most gaming laptops are huge and bulky, this laptop manages to remain relatively thin, thanks to MaxQ technology from Nvidia. The laptop features an 8GB Nvidia RTX 2060 graphics card that can devour all the games that you dare throw at it.
The laptop is made of magnesium alloy to keep the weight laptop down. The laptop is just 18.9mm thick and weighs under 2kg making it perfect for carrying around.
The display is a 15.6" Full HD display. What I loved most about this display is the fact that it has a refresh rate of 240Hz, which coupled with a response time of 3ms makes this perfect for gaming. You'll feel the millisecond advantage that you have while gaming.
For storage, it has a 1TB SSD. This makes things load faster. And for temporary storage, the laptop has 16GB of DDR4 RAM. This is more than enough for most gamers. If you want to use the laptop for video editing, I would recommend you upgrade the RAM. 32 gigs of RAM are available for cheap nowadays.
Overall I love this laptop for everything it offers and I feel this is currently a great value proposition due to the processor and the performance it offers.
Lenovo Legion Y540

Buy from AmazonProcessor: 9th Generation Core Intel I5-9300H
RAM: 8GB RAM
Graphics Card: NVIDIA RTX2060 Graphics
Storage: 1 TB HDD + 256 GB SSD
Display: 15.6-inch screen with (1920X1080) full HD display
This is a laptop that comes in multiple places in our reviews. The Lenovo Legion series has a lot of budget gaming laptops and they have tried to create a cheap RTX laptop and this is the result.
The laptop features an Intel i5-9300H processor, which we can deduce from the name is a 9th-generation processor. The processor is powerful enough for most of the gaming needs and doesn't bottleneck the GPU. The processor is a quad-core processor with an 8MB Intel Smart Cache.
The processor has a base speed of 2.4GHz which can be made to go all the way up to 4.10GHz. This makes the processor very fast and handles the gaming abilities of the laptop perfectly well.
The laptop has dual-channel cooling with four thermal vents for easier cooling of the laptop. This keeps the laptop cool even after long hours of gaming.
The RAM is a bit less, with just 8GB. But the fact that it can be upgraded with relative ease should put your mind at ease.
For more permanent storage, Lenovo has decided to go with an HDD and an SSD together. This combination ensures that the laptop boots faster and your games if they are on the SSD also load faster. Also, the HDD gives you a lot of space so you can put all your movies and games on it.
The display in the laptop is a 15.6" Full HD display. The display is crisp and vibrant. Gaming on this laptop is a joy. The screen has a resolution of 1920x1080.
The keyboard on the laptop is also great, featuring a keyboard complete with a Numpad. The keyboard is white in colour back-lit and is not RGB lit.
ASUS ROG Strix Scar

Buy from AmazonProcessor: 10th Generation Core Intel I7-10875H
RAM: 16GB RAM
Graphics Card: NVIDIA RTX2070 Graphics
Storage: 1 TB SSD
Display: 15.6-inch screen with (1920X1080) full HD display
At around 1.5 lakhs, we wouldn't call the ROG Strix Scar cheap. But then the best things in life are never cheap. If you don't want a huge hole in your pocket but still want the best gadgets life has to offer, this is one of the laptops you should look into.
Featuring the latest 10th generation Intel Core i7-10875H processor, this laptop can handle loads beyond your imagination. It would be rare for you to find tasks that this processor might suffocate a bit under. The processor has a base clock speed of 2.30GHz which can go all the way up to 5.10GHz with turbo boost and that is a lot of power. From the clock speed itself, you can tell that this processor is in a league of its own.
The processor is an octa-core processor (8 cores, yeah you heard it right), and supports multithreading so that the total thread count is 16. It has 16MB of Intel Smart Cache for fast data processing.
In the graphics department, the laptop doesn't disappoint and comes with an RTX 2070 graphics card. The graphics card is an 8GB graphics card and can play all the latest titles at Ultra settings. That is a lot for a graphics card. The graphics card is based on Turing architecture which renders incredible realism. These graphics cards are the first graphics card to feature ray tracing and you should be proud to possess one of these.
Moving on to storage, ASUS has made no compromises and comes with a 1TB SSD. When most of the manufacturers are going with an approach where the laptop has a small SSD (128GB or 256GB) and a big HDD (1TB), Asus has gone with a big SSD. This is great news since now all your games load faster and you don't have to wait much for that game to load.
Another major concern for gamers is the amount of RAM that comes with the laptop. The laptop features 16 GB of DDR4 RAM which is enough to demolish any of the latest games out today. If you think you need more, which I am pretty sure you won't, you can get some more RAM and pop it in.
The display on this beast is a 15.6" FHD display. It has a mindblowing refresh rate of 240Hz which blows the competition out of water. To make the display even better, the response time for the screen is just 3ms.
Overall we feel this is a great laptop that offers great value for money and one everyone should own.
MSI GF65 Thin 10SER-464IN

Buy from AmazonProcessor: Intel Core i7-10750H 10th Gen processor
RAM: 16GB DDR4 RAM
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060
Storage: 512GB NVMe M.2 SSD
Display: 15.6" FHD (1920*1080)
This is an upgraded version of the laptop which we mentioned earlier. There is no drastic difference here except for the CPU.
This laptop is a great choice if you do CPU-intensive tasks in your regular life a lot. This would come in handy if you are a programmer and wants to compile code or edit video and so on.
The processor is the latest offering from Intel and is based on Comet Lake architecture and is Intel Core i7-10750H. This processor was released in 2020. The processor is a Hexa core processor with each core featuring two threads.
The processor has a thread count of 12 in total to give a great performance. Now it is up to the applications you use to take full use of the CPU. The processor has 12MB of Smart Cache, compared to the 8MB that previous generation processors gave. Also, the base clock speed of the processor is 2.6GHz and can go all the way up to a mind-blowing 5.0GHz. That is proper power.
The processor we feel is extremely powerful even for gaming, and you'll break a sweat trying to make it work that hard.
The graphics card in this laptop is also, as you expect an RTX 2060. The Intel processor and the graphics card work together extremely well and you can game on it happily.
MSI didn't cheap out on RAM and provides 16GB of DDR4 RAM that will let you play all the latest titles without any stutter or lag. This laptop is a great machine at this pricing range.
For more permanent storage the laptop has a 512GB SSD which stores enough and more games to play for a long time. The storage is extremely fast so you don't have to wait for each of the games to load.
The display is a brilliant 15.6" FHD screen. The display is IPS-level with extremely thin bezels.
The keyboard is backlit in a single colour, which is red.
All this makes this laptop one of the best and cheapest RTX 2060 laptops in India.
Dell Alienware m15

Buy from AmazonProcessor: Intel Intel Core i7 8750H 8th Gen processor
RAM: 8GB DDR4 RAM
Graphics Card: Nvidia GE Force RTX 2060 6GB Graphics
Storage: 512 GB SSD
Display: 15.6-inch screen
This is not the cheapest of any of these by far, but you can say it's the best RTX laptop in town. And when you say gaming laptops, it is a shame not to include Alienware. These machines hold the utmost respect in the gaming industry.
Alienware has been making perfect laptops for a long while and all their machine are of high quality and durable. Alienware was acquired by Dell which also gives it a great edge in its after-sales service.
Alienware is a laptop that oozes perfection in all aspects. Excellent build quality and excellent thermal systems. All of these combined with a great warranty service makes these laptops very desirable.
The laptop comes with an 8th-generation Intel i7 processor. This processor has a base speed of 2.20GHz. Being from a previous generation that sounds a bit low, but doesn't worry about it. You can clock it to higher speeds if you're up to it.
The processor can go all the way up to 4.1GHz with Turbo Boost and is an excellent processor for all your daily needs.
The laptop comes with the latest graphics card, the RTX 2060, which features ray tracing. Ray tracing is the technology by which the path of light particles is tracked even after they bounce off a surface. In earlier games, if there's a mirror, and you shine a torch onto the mirror the light won't reflect on the wall as it does in real life. But with ray tracing, it will do that and more.
The RTX 2060 is extremely powerful, and even more powerful than the GTX 1070 which was a mighty card.
One of the reasons why we love this laptop is because of its looks. The laptop looks brilliant and we just can't stop drooling over its looks.
The laptop comes with just 8GB of RAM but is upgradeable up to 32 GB. The RAM slots are easily accessible. You just have to remove a few screws and the bottom panel to access the RAM. For storage, the laptop features a 512GB SSD. This is also upgradable and easily accessible.
The laptop has a 15.6" display which is crisp and high quality. The display has a high refresh rate to prevent ghosting.
We are big fans of Alienware and we thought you too would love to see the laptop on the list. Seeing one of these is like seeing a Ferrari or a Porsche. So why not.
Conclusion
Some thing you have to keep in mind while buying a cheap RTX laptop is that you should ensure that the processor does not bottleneck your graphics card. If you buy a laptop with a subpar processor, the graphics card might not perform at its peak and your gaming performance might be terrible.
We recommend that you get something above an i5 processor which is above the 8th generation.
I remember getting my first gaming laptop with GTX 1070, and I knew I could start playing any game without having to look at the minimum requirements. Once you get your hand on one of these you too can do the same.
In short, these are the list of cheapest RTX 2060 laptops in India. We hope you have a great time gaming.
With the release of the new RTX 30 series graphics cards, we expect the price to go even down.
Happy gaming. :)
