This is a laptop that is worth every penny that you spend on it. Lenovo has been making laptops for a long time and in fact, my very first laptop was a Lenovo laptop. I've rarely faced any issues with the laptop and overall I was extremely satisfied with it.

The laptop is powered by a 9th-generation Intel Core i5 processor. The processor is a quad-core processor. The exact name of the processor for the Nerds and the geeks out there is Intel Core i5-9300H.

The processor has a base clock speed of 2.4GHz and a maximum turbo clock speed of 4.1GHz. The processor also comes with 8MB of smart cache so that data can be transferred and processed faster by the processor.

The laptop comes with Windows 10 Home preloaded. With the release of the new version of Windows (Windows 11), we can hope to see better performance from the laptop. This should help you with better performance while using AutoCAD and Revit on the laptop.

The laptop comes with a 15.6" screen which is Full HD. This gives a resolution of 1920x1080 which should give you a great experience while using the laptop. The display also has anti-glare which helps you while working outdoors or in high-light situations.

The antiglare might be particularly useful if you are using it in construction sites and other places. With a brightness of 25 units, you will be able to see even in the brightest of conditions.

The laptop comes with 8GB of RAM. This can be upgraded and you might need to upgrade it for rendering smoothly. RAM sticks are cheap nowadays and it shouldn't worry you too much.

The laptop has a 1TB HDD and a 256GB SSD for storage. The pairing of SSD and HDD makes sure that you have the fastest and the most seamless experience while using the laptop.

Now to the party piece. The laptop comes with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card. This card can handle renderings and other tough jobs that you throw at it.

The laptop weighs around 2.3 kg. This means you might have to carry around a bit of weight. But then that is true for most laptops with a graphics card since they need heavy cooling.

The bezels around the screen are thinly contributing to the laptop looking very compact and offering a large screen size. With a battery life of 5 hours, there is very little that is wrong with this laptop and giving this laptop one of the top spots in a list of best laptops for AutoCAD and Revit.

The laptop also comes with a 1-year onsite domestic warranty from Lenovo.

Dell needs no introduction. Making one of the greatest laptops, the Dell G3 is no exception. Featuring a powerful graphics card, this laptop makes sure that you get your tasks done on time.

The Dell G3 is powered by a 10th-generation Intel i5 - 10300H processor. The processor is a quad-core processor. With a turbo clock speed of 4.5GHz, the laptop gets all the tasks you throw at it on time.

What is turbo speed? Turb speed is the maximum speed at which the laptop runs for short periods to give the laptop a speed boost.

The laptop comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM which can be upgraded. Mostly this should suffice to do all your renderings but you can upgrade if you feel like it. The RAM can be upgraded up to 16GB.

With a 256GB SSD, the boot times of the laptop are also reduced drastically. The laptop loads software such as AutoCAD and Revit fast thanks to the SSD.

The laptop also features a 1TB HDD which helps store all large files in your laptop. As you know most of the files in AutoCAD and Revit are large which will drastically increase storage.

I would recommend installing AutoCAD and Revit on the SSD itself as it will decrease the load times of the application.

The laptop has a 15.6-inch FHD display with a resolution of 1920x1080. The display has a refresh rate of 120Hz. This high refresh rate will help give a smooth viewing experience. The display has a brightness of 250 nits.

The graphics card on the laptop is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card. This is a  4 GB graphics card and can render everything pretty fast. The graphics card is powerful enough for occasional gaming as well if you are into that.

The laptop comes with Windows 10 preinstalled. The Windows is Home edition but that should be enough for most. The laptop also has a McAfee security centre subscription for 15 months.

The keyboard is backlit and has a great typing experience. The battery life of the laptop is 10 hours which is great considering this is a gaming laptop. The laptop weighs 2.3 kg and is relatively portable.

Since Dell acquired Alienware, the control centre for gaming is an Alienware Command Center which adds some pretty nice features to the laptop.

ASUS TUF Gaming F15 (2021)

Asus has been making some cool laptops with the release of RTX series graphics cards and if you go on Amazon, you'll notice that most of the RTX-powered laptops are from Asus. Kudos to Asus for their effort.

This laptop is pretty powerful and is powered by an 11th-generation Intel Core i5 - 11400H processor. This processor is pretty powerful with 6 cores. With multithreading support, the processor can support up to 12 threads. The processor has a base clock speed of 2.7 GHz and a maximum turbo clock speed of 4.5 GHz.

The laptop comes with a monthly subscription to the Xbox game pass if you are a gamer at heart. This laptop can handle your professional and personal needs by supporting both applications such as AutoCAD and Revit as well as helping you in gaming.

The laptop has 16GB of DDR4 RAM. This is more than enough for using all the applications you need for rendering houses. The RAM can be upgraded to up to 32 GB if you feel the need for it.

One of the things which I loved about the laptop is the fact that it has a 1TB M2 SSD. This will keep your laptop fast as well as give you a lot of storage space. The laptop also has an additional slot for SSD expansion. This means you can buy another SSD in case you feel the space is not enough and increase storage.

The graphics card in the laptops is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card. It has a GDDR6 4GB VRAM. This reduces the dependency of the graphics card on the RAM of the laptop. This is great for rendering. Also, the presence of its RAM for the graphics card makes it faster as it has more control over it.

The laptop features a technology called ROG Boost for the graphics card which gives a 15W dynamic boost for the graphics card. This boost is enough for an advantage during gaming.

The display on the laptop is a 15.6" screen with a resolution of 1920x1080. This resolution paired with a very high refresh rate of 144Hz makes this a formidable machine. This laptop can be used for both gaming and rendering.

The display has an excellent contrast ratio as well as 47.34% Adobe with Adaptive sync technology.

The laptop comes preloaded with Windows 10 Home with lifetime validity.

Overall one of the best laptops for AutoCAD and Revit in India.

I know this is way over most people's budget but, if you can this is the best laptop. I am a big fan of Razer. They just make extremely perfect laptops.

The laptop is powered by an Intel i7 - 10875H processor. This is a massive processor with great power. It has 8 cores and provides a massive performance with a turbo boost speed of 5.1GHz. The processor has a base clock speed of 2.1GHz.

The processor comes with 16MB of Intel Smart Cache. The TDP of the processor is 45W and has great performance. With multithreading, the processor has 16 threads and is excellent for multitasking.

The graphics card in the laptop is what makes this laptop so perfect for using AutoCAD and Revit. These apps need to render the images which are seen on the screen. This part is handled by the graphics card.

The graphics card in the laptop is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card. The graphics card has new RT Cores and tensor cores. This helps in rendering the images smoothly. The graphics card is really powerful and is top of a line graphics card for gaming laptops.

The graphics card has 8GB of video RAM and to top it, it has got 6144 CUDA cores. This makes this laptop just impossible to beat. If you game on this laptop, then it is going to be an even better experience. You'll be immersed in gaming on this machine.

The graphics card gives the most realistic ray-traced graphics and great performance. These cards are also helpful in gaming if you're interested in them.

The best part of the laptop is how it keeps the laptop cool. The laptop is made of a CNC aluminium unibody. The issue with most of the laptops with a graphics card that is this powerful is cooling and somehow or the other, Razer has found a way to keep the laptop cool.

The cooling is done by a vacuum-sealed copper vapour chamber that spans all the heat-generating components. It throws out this heat very efficiently keeping the laptop cool even after long hours of renderings.

The laptop comes with 32GB of RAM which is a lot. I don't think you'll even come to a situation where you have to use all the RAM.

The storage on the laptop is 1TB SSD, but for this price, we feel they could have put in some more storage.

The display on this laptop is from another world. The display is a Full HD display and has a refresh rate of 360Hz. That refresh rate itself is crazy, I haven't heard of anything more than that. Also with a response time of just 2ms, this is just from another world.

The bezels around the display are really thin and it gives the laptop great beauty.

The audio system in the laptop is also great and provides spatial audio. This means you can hear the audio in a 3D surround.

The keyboard in the laptop is customisable. You can give each key in the keyboard the colour you want and you can even give designs like a ripple effect. So whenever you strike a key, the lights will change on the other keys to give an effect like water rippling when you throw a stone in it.

Overall this is a perfect laptop and if you have the money for this, I  would strongly recommend it. And if I had the money to buy one, this is the one I would have had on my table typing this article onto. :)

OMEN by HP

Processor: 5th Gen AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor
RAM: 16GB DDR4 RAM
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Graphics
Storage: 1 TB SSD
Display: 15.6-in Display

This laptop holds a special place in my heart because when the prices of the laptop were too high, this is the only manufacturer who gave the laptop at a much-discounted rate. We can think of the Omen series to be the Jio of the laptop world.

The laptop is powered by a Ryzen 7 - 5800H processor and if you think AMD processors are not as awesome as Intel processors, well you are wrong. And, the reason is for a long time manufacturers like Alienware (A big company, bought by Dell, that makes awesome gaming laptops) relied only on Intel to give processors. But with the latest series of AMD processors, they have launched a line of laptops branded Ryzen just for the AMD processors.

So, I hope that turns your attitude towards AMD. Now let's look at its specs. The processor is an octa-core processor (8 cores). It supports multi-threading and has 16 threads. All this helps a lot in multi-tasking. With a base clock speed of 3.2GHz and a maximum clock speed of 4.4GHz, the laptop is perfect for using AutoCAD, Revit and other software required for architecture.

The pricing makes this an excellent choice the best laptop for AutoCAD and Revit. It also makes it one of the best laptops for architects.

The laptop features an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card for boosted graphics capabilities. The graphics card is brilliant and features ray tracing. This card comes with 8GB of video memory. All this together makes this laptop perform greatly.

The laptop has 16 GB of DDR4 RAM. This is a combination of 2 x 8GB RAM. The RAM can be upgraded to up to 32 GB. I don't think you'll need to upgrade the RAM.

The storage on the laptop is a 1TB PCIe NVMe M2 SSD. The SSD makes boot times lower and makes the apps load faster.

The display on the laptops is a 15.6-inch QHD display. The QHD means that the resolution is 2560x144o. This is one of the highest resolutions for laptops on this list. The display has an anti-glare coating.

The display has a refresh rate of 165Hz and a response time of 3ms. The lower the response time, the better the performance of the display. The brightness of the display can be turned up to 300 nits which is great.

The laptop comes preloaded with Windows 10 reducing the hassle of having to install the operating system. The OS is perfect for working with all the software. The lack of Office on the laptop is a bit disappointing.

The battery life in the laptop is around 7 hours. That is great for a laptop that has such a powerful graphics card. I still do wonder how someone can get so many hours out of a laptop so powerful.

The build quality of the laptop is great and the keyboard is RGB illuminated. This means you can set the colour which you want to set on the keyboard.

The laptop is easy to open and upgrade so you can upgrade the storage or RAM easily.

The WiFi on the laptop is a WiFi 6 module which makes it fast.

Overall, this is a great laptop at a great price. Would strongly recommend getting one of these.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus S

Asus has ditched all conventional wisdom with this laptop. The keyboard of a laptop is supposed to be on the top part and the trackpad on the bottom. But Asus went with a design where the keyboard is at the bottom and the trackpad is on the right. So what about the num pad? That is the cool part, the trackpad can work as a Numpad also. How cool is that?

So why has Asus gone for this type of style? Well, the answer is cooling. It is really hard to keep a laptop with such a powerful graphics card cool. Let's look at the specs that need to be kept cool.

The processor in the laptop is a 9th-generation Intel Core i7-9750H processor. The processor is really powerful. Featuring 6 cores and supporting multithreading, the laptop works flawlessly for most tasks.

The processor has a base clock speed of 2.6GHz and a maximum turbo clock speed of 4.5GHz. The laptop has 12MB of Intel Smart Cache to process the data faster.

The laptop features 32GB of DDR4 memory at a refresh rate of 2666MHz. I am pretty sure you'll never feel the need to upgrade the RAM ever. The storage in the laptop is a 1TB SSD (Hyper Drive).

The graphics card in the laptop is the previous years top of the line Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080. The graphics card has 8GB of VRAM. This makes sure that you can render all the 3D images and videos you need without the laptop breaking a sweat.

The display on a laptop is a 17.3-inch display giving a lot of space. The display is an IPS-level panel with a refresh rate of 300 Hz. The display has a response time of 3ms.

The laptop comes preloaded with Windows 10.

The cooling system in the laptop is also pretty cool, with anti-dust self-cleaning fans. Each fan has 83 blades making it great to cool the laptop.

Overall another great laptop that is excellent for applications such as  AutoCAD and Revit.
