With the release of RTX 40 series graphics cards, we are expecting the prices of laptops to go down and gaming laptops to become more affordable.
Though the prices of graphics cards and processors are coming down the games are becoming more demanding. 50000 is a great price for entry-level gaming and we hope you have a great time gaming.

Editor's Choice: ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DT

Buy from AmazonProcessor: AMD Ryzen 5-3550H processor
RAM: 4GB DDR4
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650
Storage: 512 GB SSD
Display: 15.6" (16:9) LED-backlit FHD (1920x1080) 120Hz Anti-Glare IPS-level Panel
ASUS provides some of the best gaming laptops on a budget and we are extremely pleased with FX505DT. The laptop is a powerhouse for gaming, and ASUS has done an excellent job at keeping the price down and providing great value for money.
The laptop features an AMD Ryzen 5 -3550H processor. This is an excellent step towards cost-cutting as we know that AMD processors are relatively cheap compared to their Intel counterparts. The processor is a quad-core processor with two threads per core. It has a base clock speed of 2.1GHz and a maximum turbo boost speed of 3.7GHz. This is enough to provide performance support to the graphics card.
In the graphics department, the laptop comes with the all-powerful Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card. Nvidia claims that the graphics card is around 70% more powerful than the outgoing GTX 1050 card. GTX 1050 was already a great card powerful enough to handle the hardest of the titles of its time and that wasn't a long time ago, and 70% more power than that is more than enough for anything in the market today.
The graphics card comes with 4GB of video memory so that the graphics card doesn't eat into the RAM while gaming. This is an excellent value-for-money deal and we are sure this is the laptop to buy if you want a laptop under 50k for gaming.
For memory, the laptop comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM. This is what is expected at this price range and we have nothing to complain about the RAM. For more permanent storage the laptop comes with 512 GB of SSD. We are happy that ASUS didn't cheap out and go with an HDD but decided that this is a performance machine and there's a need to put in an SSD.
We loved this laptop and this is a must-buy for gaming laptops under 50000.
Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54

Buy from AmazonProcessor: Intel Intel Core i5-9300H processor 9th Gen
RAM: 8 GB DDR4
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
Storage: 1TB HDD
Display: 15.6" display with IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology
Though this is a bit over the budget, if you are not comfortable with an AMD processor but want an Intel one instead, this is the one you should go for.
The laptop features a 9th generation Intel Core i5 processor; Intel Core i5-9300H. This is a powerful processor featuring a base speed of 2.40GHz and a turbo clock speed of 4.10GHz. The processor is a quad-core processor with two threads per processor. We will discuss what this means later. The processor also has 8MB of Intel Smart Cache.
Now let's get into the main component of a gaming laptop. The graphics card. The laptop features an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 graphics card. The graphics card is powerful enough to play most if not all of the latest gaming titles, and that is a great feature for a gaming laptop. It has 4GB of video memory and can play all the latest titles.
The laptop comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and for storage, it has a 1TB HDD. Though the RAM is enough for every daily task you are going to meet with a gaming laptop, the HDD might pose a little bit of a problem. This is because it doesn't offer as much performance as an SSD. You will find slower loading times for games because of this.
But overall this is a great laptop and we are happy with it.
HP Pavilion Gaming 15

Buy from AmazonProcessor: AMD Ryzen 5-3550H processor
RAM: 8 GB DDR4
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050
Storage: 256 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD
Display: 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) anti-glare IPS display
HP is a name that is known for building great laptops. They are also known for their Omen series of gaming laptops. HP has decided to work the magic which made the Omen series so successful into the Pavilion series also by adding a great graphics card.
HP Pavilion features an AMD Ryzen 5 - 3550H processor. The processor is a quad-core processor with a base speed of 2.1GHz and a maximum clock speed of up to 3.7GHz. What this means is that, when there is too much work for the processor to do, it automatically works at a faster speed to get the work done quickly. But this results in the laptop overheating and therefore this can be done only for a short period. The processor is a quad-core processor and has 8 threads in total.
For graphics cards, the laptop has an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card. The graphics card is the smallest of the previous generation of Nvidia graphics cards, but it works brilliantly. The graphics card is powerful enough to play all of the latest titles with relative ease on Low settings. The graphics card comes with 4GB of Video graphics memory.
The laptop features a full-sized keyboard which we found typing to be great. The arrow keys are small (the up and down arrow is half the size) which makes it hard to use them while gaming. But since most modern games use WASD keys for gaming, we find that to be just minorly annoying.
The screen on the laptop is a 15.6" Full HD with a 60Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate ensures that there is no ghosting while gaming, and you get to see the game with higher clarity.
The laptop comes with 8GB of DDR4 memory which should get most tasks done, including opening a lot of Chrome tabs. For storage, HP has decided to go with a combination of SSD and HDD to provide the best of both worlds. The 256GB SSD helps in faster booting and lower loading time of games while the 1TB HDD is there so you can store all your movies and game installation files.
Acer Nitro 5 AN515-42

Buy from AmazonProcessor: AMD Ryzen 5 2500U processor
RAM: 8 GB DDR4
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon RX 560X
Storage: 1 TB HDD
Display: 5.6" display with IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology, Full HD 1920 x1080
The Acer Nitro 5 is an example of going against the tide. While most of the companies go with the Intel + Nvidia combination for processor and graphics card, Acer went with an all-AMD configuration.
The laptop features a quad-core AMD processor for CPU. Specifically the Ryzen 5 2500U processor. Ryzen 5 series is like a competitor to the Intel i5, so that would live easier to compare between Ryzen and Intel processors. The processor has a base clock speed of 2.0GHz and a turbo boost speed of up to 3.6GHz. This is very similar to what an Intel i5 processor provides. The processor also has 2 threads per core to take the total thread count to 8.
For graphics, the laptop has an AMD Radeon RX 560X. The graphics card comes with 4GB of built-in video memory. The performance of the processor is comparable to Nvidia GTX 1050 if that's what you're benchmarking with. The graphics card can handle all of the latest titles without breaking a sweat, but asking it for anything more than low settings would be a bit too much.
For memory, the laptop comes with 8GB of DDR4 memory which is the norm in this price range. For storage, the laptop has a 1TB HDD which is sort of disappointing. We would have preferred an SSD over an HDD.
The laptop has a 15.6" display with In-plane switching (IPS) technology for crisp videos. The display also supports full HD videos with a resolution of 1920x1080.
Lenovo Ideapad 330

Buy from AmazonProcessor: Intel i5-8300H processor
RAM: 8 GB DDR4
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 1050
Storage: 1 TB HDD
Display: 15.6-inch screen with (1920X1080) full HD display
Lenovo is another great name in the laptop industry and it has created a great laptop with Lenovo Ideapad 33o.
The laptop features an 8th-generation Intel Core i5-8300H processor. The processor is a quad-core processor which has a base speed of 2.3GHz and a maximum clock speed of 4.0GHz. The processor is a quad-core processor with multithreading. Multi-threading helps each of the cores to do multiple tasks at the same time. The laptop has an 8MB Intel Smart Cache.
For gaming purposes, the laptop features Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 graphics card. This is a great card for gaming purposes and can play all the new games. This is from the previous generation of graphics cards which Nvidia made but is relatively new.
For memory, the laptop has 8GB of DDR4 RAM. The RAM will get you through all your daily tasks. The laptop provides 1TB of HDD for storage, and as mentioned earlier, we would have preferred an SSD. So if you're thinking of upgrading your laptop, the first thing you should look into should be swapping the HDD for an SSD.
One of the things we loved about the laptop is that it looks extremely professional and nothing gives away the fact that it hides an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 underneath it. You can take it to the office and look as professional as you want and then take the laptop back home and become the gamer you are.
ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DY

Buy from AmazonProcessor: AMD Ryzen 5-3550H processor
RAM: 8 GB DDR4
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon RX560X
Storage: 1 TB HDD
Display: 15.6-inch (16:9) LED-backlit FHD (1920x1080)
Asus TUF gaming FX505DY is very similar to our Editor's choice. The only difference the laptop has is in the graphics department, where they have gone with AMD Radeon RX 560X. Brownie points to AMD for providing everything AMD.
For the processor, the laptop has a Ryzen 5-3550H processor. It is a quad-core processor and is synonymous with the Intel Core i5 series. The laptop is multithread for easy multitasking. You can use the laptop for a long time without the laptop heating much and can open as many browser tabs as you want. The processor has a base speed of 2.1GHz and a maximum clock speed of 3.7GHz.
The processor is paired with AMD Radeon RX 560X. This is a 4GB graphics card with enough firepower to compete directly with Nvidia GTX 1050. The graphics card can handle all the latest AAA titles. You wouldn't find many drops in frame rate with these graphics cards.
This laptop also has 8GB of DDR4 memory. The RAM is enough for daily use as well as gaming purpose. If you want you can upgrade the RAM with relative ease. For storage, the laptop has a 1TB HDD. Though it provides a lot of storage space, an HDD is not as smooth as an SSD in terms of performance.
The display is a 15.6" LED back-lit full HD screen with a refresh rate of 60Hz.
ASUS F570

Buy from AmazonProcessor: AMD Quad core R5-2500H processor
RAM: 8 GB DDR4
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 1050
Storage: 1 TB HDD
Display: 15.6" (16:9) LED-backlit FHD (1920x1080) 60Hz Anti-Glare Panel
Another beauty from Asus. The thing we loved about this particular model is the fact that it hides its gaming origins well. Most of the laptops look pretty much like gaming laptops with their vast number of RGB lights.
Featuring a 2.0GHz AMD Quad core R5-2500 processor this machine does all of the tasks pretty smoothly. The laptop is very powerful and you won't feel it is slow at any point. The processing power is enough for to prevent any sort of bottleneck on the graphics card and supports it well during gaming.
The laptop features an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 4GB graphics card. The card has a video memory of 4GB which is enough to store frames that are to be rendered so there's no drop in frame rate during gaming. The graphics card is from a yester-year but that hasn't dampened its spirits one bit It can play all the latest gaming titles at Low to Medium settings, which is a lot at this price range, considering how demanding the latest titles are.
The laptop has 8GB of DDR4 memory and storage a 1TB HDD. The 8GB provides enough RAM for gaming and opening multiple browser tabs at the same time. The HDD though it provides ample space is not as fast as an SSD and the first thing you should upgrade if you're getting one of these laptops is the HDD.
The laptop comes with Windows 10 Home preinstalled. The display is 15.6" Full HD with a resolution of 1920x1200 and has an anti-glare panel.
Overall we feel this is an excellent machine and would be a good choice if you don't want to flaunt your gaming skills.
HP Pavilion Gaming - bc406TX

Buy from AmazonProcessor: Intel i5-8300H processor
RAM: 8 GB DDR4
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 1050
Storage: 1 TB HDD
Display: 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) display
HP got into making a series of cheap laptops which are very performant with the Omen series. But the Pavilion is also an excellent series, though not originally gaming laptops.
This particular model features the 8th gen Intel i5-8300H processor which comes with a base speed of 2.3GHz. The processor has a maximum clock speed of 4.00GHz. The laptop performs excellently due to the performance of the processor and is smooth throughout its work.
For graphics processing, the laptop has a 4GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050. The graphics card is meant for entry-level gaming only and cannot be used for professional gaming. It can play most if not all of the gaming titles with ease.
The laptop has 8GB of memory and comes with a 1TB HDD. And as always the recommendation is to upgrade the HDD first to an SSD, which is cheap (the smaller ones) and if needed upgrade the RAM. Having an HDD hampers the performance of a laptop a lot.
The laptop comes with Windows 10 pre-installed and has a 1-year domestic warranty.
Conclusion
Picking any of the laptops above will give you an edge in gaming, but we will recommend you pick the editor's choice laptop ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DT. But if you're feeling adventurous and you want to pick any of the other laptops also, we got your back.
