11 Best Gaming Laptops Under 1 Lakh in India (2023)

Getting a gaming laptop is a great deal. But deciding which one can be overwhelming. Considering the options that are there, getting the best gaming laptop under 1 lakh is hard.

With gaming laptops, the major thing to consider is the graphics card. If you've got a killer graphics card, you've got most of the things right. With the advent of RTX 30 series laptops, the price of laptops with 20 series has gone down a bit. But it would take a bit more to make them truly affordable.

If you're not looking for a gaming laptop but a normal laptop to take to work, then we have compiled another list for you here: Best Laptops under 100000.

Specs Guide:

Before we list out the laptops, we think, we've to let you know how exactly we came to this list, and what prompted us to put the laptops on this list. This is so that you can pick a laptop from a mall or wherever even if one of these laptops is not in the shop.

CPU

Nothing less than an i7 processor should make the cut for a gaming laptop is what most say, but we are willing to let in i5 processors too. So why is it so? Gaming laptops depend predominantly on graphics cards. Games need graphics cards that can push the limits, and processors are there to assist the cards to do what they do well. So we don't need processors that can push the limits. We just need to make sure that the processor does its work well.

Then again, does every i5 processor makes the cut? Sadly no. The processor has to be at least i5 10th generation. To know the generation, you've to look at the model of the processor. For example, if its name is i5-10750H, then it is a 10th generation from the starting two digits of the model number. And if it is 8850K, then it is an 8th generation processor from the starting one digit.

Video Card

RTX graphics cards have come below the one lakh mark and I honestly will not buy any laptop that doesn't have an RTX graphics card at this price point. And thankfully, there are quite a few laptops with RTX 3060 graphics cards. Then again, there are a few RTX 3050 laptops too which we can consider.

Other graphics cards which you can consider are the GTX 1650 and 1660, but then, in a world where there are RTX graphics cards why would you settle for GTX cards?

RAM

16 GB and nothing but 16 GB. The minimum amount of RAM that you can have for a gaming laptop today is 16 GB.

But if you find a laptop with great specs but is limited by just its RAM, we would recommend buying it. But check if the RAM can be upgraded. RAM sticks are pretty cheap nowadays and upgrading the RAM is easy. So get the laptop with better specs today and upgrade it later.

We have a list of the best RAM available in the market if you want to buy RAM along with the laptop.

Storage

Get something with an SSD, or again, upgrade to SSD now. SSDs are marginally faster than traditional HDDs. Ancient HDDs cannot keep up with the pace of the processors of today and a laptop is only as fast as its slowest component.

You can either go for a combo of SSD and HDD or just pure SSD. I would recommend having games on SSD as you will not have to wait for the games to load much with an SSD.

So we've compiled the top gaming laptops below 100000 in India there are in the market right now, to make life easier for you:

We would like to start this by apologizing. Apologising for filling this article with Asus Laptops. But then what can you do if Asus is the only company that wants to build great RTX laptops? If you want to be a gamer, RTX is the way forward and Asus does not just that, but they give the best that is there.

Powered by the RTX 3060 graphics card we see no issue in giving this laptop the deserved crown of being the best gaming laptop under 1 lakh. If you have that kind of money to spare and you're wondering which one to buy then look no further. We have no idea why we have added more laptops to this list, but then maybe you can just compare and see how powerful this laptop is.

The laptop is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H which is on par with i7 10750H. The processor is even slightly better than the i7 and we feel is a great choice for a gaming laptop. This is because recently AMD has been making better and better processors that even companies like Alienware have decided to make laptops that run on AMD processors. The processor is an octa-core processor with 16 threads which is really sweet. With a base clock speed of 3.2GHz and a maximum clock speed of 4.4 GHz, the processor would love to eat games for breakfast.

Now to the party piece. The RTX 3060 graphics card. This is the latest offering from Nvidia and is powerful enough that it can play all the latest titles with ease. It doesn't have second thoughts on which game it is given to play, it'll do its job with ecstasy. The graphics card comes with 6GB of its own memory so that gaming on this laptop is bliss. You can play most of the games in medium and even Ultra settings without the laptop breaking a sweat.

The laptop comes with 16GB of DDR4 RAM so that you can play games as well as do other tasks without running out of memory. For storage, Asus has included a 1 TB SSD. The SSD increases the speed of the laptop by a margin. Compared to traditional hard disks, since the solid-state drive does not have any moving parts, the speed offered by the laptop in booting and loading games is significant.

Overall we find this laptop to be extremely good considering the great specs the laptop offers at this price point.

Asus TUF Dash F15

Graphics Card: RTX3060-6GB
Storage: 512GB SSD

This laptop is very similar to the laptop mentioned above. The TUF Dash is one hell of a gaming machine that can do everything you command, like a genie from a bottle.

The laptop is powered by an 11th-generation Intel Core i5-11300H processor. The processor is really powerful and can do all the tasks you want it to handle. It does gaming extremely well. The processor is a mobile processor. It is a quad-core processor with multithreading. The processor has a maximum turbo frequency of 4.40GHz.

The graphics card in the laptop is an RTX 3060 graphics card. A card that can help you play all the latest titles without breaking a sweat. The card comes with 6GB of graphics memory. We are pretty impressed by the capabilities of this laptop considering the price range this laptop is in.

The laptop looks brilliant and the outer side of the laptop looks great. The finish on the laptop feels very premium and the display doesn't have too much flex.

One of the things which I loved about the laptop is the multiple SSD slots. It comes with a 512 GB SSD which you can upgrade without having to throw away the existing SSD. You can pop in a 1 GB SSD if you feel that the current amount of storage doesn't satisfy your needs.

The laptop comes with 16GB of DDR4 memory which is standard for laptops at this price range. Overall, a great laptop with great performance.

In terms of sheer power, no other laptop comes anywhere close to this one for best gaming laptops under 100000. This is because in this list this is the only laptop that features an Nvidia RTX 2060 graphics card which has a mind-blowing 6GB GDDR6 Frame Buffer.

The RTX technology alone is not the cool part of the RTX 2060 graphics card. It performs at par with the outgoing GTX 2070 which was a hellhound itself.

GTX 2070 was a beast of a graphics card, which handled every game thrown at it extremely well. It could play all the games at its time in Ultra easily.

The RTX too, therefore, is no stranger to Ultra settings. It can play almost all of the new titles at Ultra.  What more could you ask from a laptop?

The next part of the technology we need to touch is the processor. The Asus Tuf gaming features a Ryzen 7-3750H processor. Most of the laptop buyers are a bit sceptical when they hear AMD processors but that's not the case. AMD produces some of the greatest chips nowadays.

If Intel processors are what you benchmark processors with, the Ryzen 7-3750H performs at par with Intel i7-8750H. The processor is a quad-core processor with a base clock speed of 2.3GHz and has a max boost clock speed of around 4.0GHz. The processor is extremely performant and would do all the tasks you dare throw at it.

The Asus Tuf Gaming FX505DV features 16GB of RAM which is up-gradable to 32GB, if some random day you wake up and feel that the amount of RAM is not enough. But we feel 16 is all you need.

For more permanent storage the laptop features a 512 GB SSD, which is enough for most. But if you think you need a tad bit more extra space, you can get another SSD. Asus has put an extra slot to put an SSD.

This laptop is extremely cheap (around 80K) and we feel though it is well under the one lakh limit, this is performant enough to put all the other laptops to shame.

In the ports department, the laptop has one audio jack, one USB 2.0 slot, two USB 3.2 ports, one RJ45 LAN jack and one HDMI port. The lack of a USB-C port is a bit sad, but we are not complaining.

The performance of this laptop overthrows all the other laptops we have seen at this price range and we strongly recommend you buy this.

PROS

  • The most powerful graphics card in this price range
  • SSD storage instead of traditional HDD
  • Has ray tracing technology, which brings more lively lighting to games

CONS

  • Storage space is low with just 512 GB
  • Ryzen 7 doesn't perform as well as its Intel counterpart

MSI GF65 Thin 9SEXR-438IN

MSI has made a laptop tailormade for gaming, with the MSI GF65 laptop. This is perfect for gaming due to the RTX 2060 graphics card which is featured inside the laptop. This as we said before is one of the greatest gaming laptops available in India at this budget.

The laptop features an Intel Core i5-9300H processor which is a ninth-generation processor. The processor has a base speed of 2.40GHz and a maximum clock speed of 4.10GHz. The processor is a quad-core processor which helps in multitasking. More applications can be run parallelly due to multitasking. The processor also has another trick up its sleeve called multithreading. This makes an individual core run multiple programs at the same time. This also helps in increasing the overall speed of the laptop.

The laptop comes with Windows 10 preinstalled and has lifetime validity. The OS is a 64-bit operating system.

The display on the laptop is a 15.6" screen and has a resolution of 1920x1080 making it Full HD. The display is of IPS quality and has a refresh rate of 120Hz. The high refresh rate will help in gaming. Refresh rate is a measure of the number of times the screen refreshes in a second. The higher the refresh rate the better the viewing experience. This also helps you react to the event faster. This helps, particularly in shooting games.

For memory, the laptop has only 8GB of DDR4 RAM. This is a bit low for a gaming laptop but we are willing to overlook that fact due to the graphics card. The RAM can be upgraded anytime and are extremely cheap.

For storage, the laptop comes with a 512GB NVMe SSD. Here also we believe, MSI could have given a little more, but again, these are things that can be upgraded. But when it comes to processors and graphics cards, they cannot be upgraded and we believe one should take the very best.

The laptop features an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card which offers ray tracing technology. Ray tracing is the technology with which live shadows and reflections can be drawn on the screen. The graphics card is a 6GB graphics card and offers excellent performance. This graphics card will aid you a lot during gaming.

The keyboard on the laptop is also lovely and good to type on. It is a full-sized keyboard and has enough space for typing and usage. The keyboard is backlit and is a single colour (Red).

The laptop comes with 2 years carry-in warranty and overall we are extremely satisfied with the laptop. I mean, when someone is giving you an RTX laptop at this price, there is nothing to be done except be happy with it.

HP has been making great gaming laptops for a long time. With the release of the Omen series laptop, they've manufactured some of the greatest laptops of all time. The Omen series is relatively cheap for the performance they offer. Let's take a look at the best gaming laptop HP has to provide.

The HP Pavilion laptop is not from the Omen series and it seems like HP is trying to emulate the success it had with Omen in the Pavilion series as well. This laptop is gorgeous to look at.

Featuring a 9th generation Intel Core i7 processor, the performance of the laptop is impeccable. The laptop can support gaming at Full HD and thanks to the performance of the processor, it will not bottleneck the graphics card.

The laptop features a 15.6" screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 making it Full HD. The display has a refresh rate of 60Hz but for an extra 8k, you can get the same laptop with a refresh rate of 144Hz. The display has an anti-glare coating and has IPS level quality.

The graphics card in the laptop is an Nvidia GeForce GTX1650 graphics card which has 4GB of dedicated video memory. The graphics card is powerful and can play all the latest titles. Asking for it to play on Ultra settings might be a bit too much, but otherwise, the gaming on the laptop is expected to be great. The laptop has large fans which help to cool the laptop during long hours of gaming and will help in a great performance.

The laptop features 8GB of DDR4 RAM. The RAM paired with an SSD of 256GB provides a performance that is unmatched. SSDs are great devices for the increased performance of the laptop. Using an SSD over an HDD will give rise to a performance increase of up to 3x. The laptop also has a 1 TB HDD so that your storage needs are met.

The laptop has a backlit keyboard to help with better visibility of the keys at night. The laptop offers great performance and great value for money.

The MSI GL63 is a formidable machine, that can handle the toughest of tasks you give it, owing to its i7 processor and GTX 1660Ti Graphics card.

MSI is a name not much hard in India but is a huge gaming laptop company. They have managed to create a brilliant maLink to Amazonchine with the GL63.

The laptop features the latest generation i7 processor, Intel Core i7-9750H which is a hex-core processor. The processor has a base speed of 2.6GHz and has a turbo boost of up to 4.0GHz. The processor is extremely powerful considering it is an i7 and is the latest.

The laptop has Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti graphics card which features Turing architecture. The 1660Ti rivals the likes of GTX 1070 graphics cards. The Turing architecture ensures that the laptop remains cooler and faster than the older graphics cards. Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti has 6GB of frame buffer and 12 Gbps of memory speed.

The laptop has only 8GB of RAM which is kind of sad but is upgradable. RAM modules are pretty cheap nowadays so we won't linger much on that fact.

For more permanent storage, the laptop features 256GB SSD and 1 TB of HDD, which is more than enough in today's world of cloud storage.

The keyboard backlighting is a single colour (red), which we sort of hate. We would have preferred at least RGB lighting, let alone individual key lighting.

The laptop has two USB 3.1 ports, one USB 3.1 Gen 2 port, 1 USB type-c port, one RJ45 LAN jack, one HDMI port, one SD card reader, one mic in and one headphone out jack.

The GTX 1660 Ti, is powerful enough to play all the latest titles in low or medium settings. Asking it to play the latest titles in Ultra might be a bit too much. We kind of like this laptop for the value it offers and for making it a contender for one of the best gaming laptops under 1 Lakh.

PROS

  • Only 8GB of RAM
  • Brilliant cooling
  • Lots of storage with an additional 1TB HDD

CONS

  • Has only 8GB of RAM
  • Single colour backlight instead of RGB
  • The battery doesn't last long

The Dell Inspiron G3 strikes more of a mature laptop. It doesn't scream for attention like the usual gaming laptops. Most of the time you'll feel kind of embarrassed, especially if you're old and married, to pull out your gaming laptop. Most of the gaming laptops have lights running around them which makes it feel a bit childish. Dell has managed to hide the G3's gaming capabilities pretty well.

The Dell Inspiron like most of the other laptops under 100000, has an Intel i7-9750H processor. As mentioned earlier the processor is a hex core and has a base speed of 2.6GHz. The clock speed can all the way up to 4.5GHz in case you want more power. The processor can do all the tasks you throw at it in a breeze.

In terms of graphics processing, we didn't like the fact that it just featured an Nvidia GTX 1650, we believe it could have been at least a 1660Ti, if not an RTX. But wouldn't complain a lot as it is pretty performant and would play all the modern titles at High at the very least.

The laptop features 16GB of DDR4 RAM which is upgradable but we don't feel there is ever a need to have RAM of more than 16GB. And for permanent storage, it just has a 512 GB SSD. You can pop in another SSD if the need arises.

The laptop is quite powerful and is one of the best gaming laptops under 1 lakh, especially owing to the fact that it looks mature. If you have ever been embarrassed at the airport by your gaming laptop, this is the one to go to.

PROS

  • Looks professional
  • Exceptionally quiet and excellent heat management
  • Great audio quality

CONS

  • Has only 8GB RAM
  • Storage is very little with just 8GB

The one we chose doesn't feature an i7 processor, but you'll get one with that too if that's more of your taste. But we are gamers and we would love to have every bit of graphics power you have to give, and if you are willing to give us a tad bit more in return for processing power we will take them with both hands open.

Core i7 with GTX 1650 Link to Flipkart
Core i5 with GTX 1660Ti

We are reviewing both together, and in terms of processing power, the i7 wins. But the margin is staggeringly little, just around 10% more performant. We would easily pass on that. The i7 processor is a hex-core processor compared to the four cores which the i5 has to offer. The i7 processor has a base speed of around 2.6GHz whereas the i5 processor has 3.5GHz. So much in terms of power. But for a gaming laptop, very little is dependent on the processor and we should get to our main worry.  The graphics card.

Pitting the 1660Ti and 1650 together will result in the 1660Ti winning every time. Now the second question is, by what margin? The question is relevant because we need to make up for the lost processing power.

Nvidia 1660 Ti has 6GB of GDDR6 Frame buffer whereas 1650 offers only 4GB. That is huge. Also when the 1660Ti offers a memory speed of 12 GBps, Nvidia 1650 manages a speed of just 8GBps. Bench-marking both of them shows that the Nvidia 1660Ti has an effective speed of around 82% more than 1650. All these make the 1660Ti the clear winner.

When it comes to the rest of the details, both of them are identical offering 16GB of RAM and 1 TB of SSD storage. Both RAM and storage can be upgraded and we feel is enough.

The ROG Strix is a brilliant laptop missing one major feature. The thin bezels which make the laptop look so good have made it impossible for the laptop to have a webcam. This means that the laptop doesn't have a webcam. For an extremely premium laptop, we feel, they should have had cramped it in somehow.

We found this laptop to be extremely elegant and powerful and would have chosen it as the best laptop under 100000 if it had a better graphics card. But then can't complain, it captivates with its looks.

PROS

  • Excellent bezel-less display
  • Audio quality is amazing for a laptop

CONS

  • No webcam

Lenovo Legion Y540

Processor: Intel i7-9750H Processor

Another great laptop under 1 lakh. This laptop is a sturdy laptop that is excellent for gaming. The laptop looks great and has an excellent build quality. It oozes perfection in every corner.

The Lenovo Legion Y540 is powered by a 9th generation Intel Core i7-9750H processor with a base speed of 2.6GHz and a turbo boost of 4GHz. This amount of performance is enough for all the latest gaming titles that are available in the market currently. The laptop's performance in the CPU department is solid and we couldn't find any fault with it at this price range.

The processor is paired with Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti. The graphics card is from a newer generation which is built on top of Turing architecture. The graphics card has 6GB of video ram which means, it can store a lot of frames to prevent any lag while gaming. The laptop is a powerhouse meant to play the latest titles.

Another one of the things which we loved about the laptop is the cooling capabilities. The laptop is able to maintain consistent temperatures even after hours of gaming.

The laptop has 16GB of RAM which is upgradable up to 32 GB. 16GB suffices for all gaming needs and needs to be upgraded if you do heavy video editing or similar tasks.

For storage, the laptop has 2 drives. The SSD can store 256GB of data. The SSD will help you in lower boot times, and higher performance. Booting from the SSD will result in extremely lower boot times compared to an HDD.

You can store all of your random stuff like movies in the bigger 1 TB HDD. This way it is cost-efficient and you get lots of storage.

Overall this is a great laptop and a good buy.

PROS

  • Lots of storage with an SSD and HDD
  • Powerful graphics

CONS

  • Battery life is relatively low

Acer Predator Triton 300

Processor: Intel Core i7 9750H 9th Gen processor

Acer is not a brand that is known for its gaming laptops, but then once they come up with a gaming laptop it is natural for us to be sceptical about it. But they seem to have done it right.

The laptop looks good with its thin bezels and RGB lighting. The build quality of the laptop is strong and sturdy. The laptop is all metal making it durable. The keyboard also is large and well-spaced out making it excellent for both gaming and for day to day use.

But then we are not here for the looks, we are here for performance. The laptop offers performance that would make you drool. And the best part is that it manages to squeeze all that performance without breaking a sweat. It keeps itself calm and composed making it easier to game for long hours.

The laptop is powered by a 9th generation Intel Core i7 processor. We are not complaining about the processor since this is not a processor which is not offering enough power. This offers enough power to play most of the latest games.

The display is crisp and offers great quality during gaming. The screen is 15.6 inches in dimension and offers a Full HD viewing experience. It has a resolution of 1920x1080. The display has a refresh rate of 144Hz and a response time of 3ms. This will give you the edge required during gaming.

The graphics card on the laptop is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650. This can get you through most of the games with relative ease. The laptop has great potential and can be extremely useful for carrying around. The laptop is thin and weighs less so you can carry it comfortably everywhere.

A combination of 1TB HDD and 256GB SSD gives you the best of both worlds. The speed needed for faster loading is provided by the SSD whereas the space which you need for all your movies and so on is provided by the HDD.

The laptop has a battery life of around 8 hours. This means you can forget your charger at home and still have a productive day at the office.

Overall I feel that Acer has done things pretty decently but they could have had added an RTX graphics card at this price range instead of the old GTX.

Lenovo makes great laptops even greater. The chic design combined with the great performance that the laptop offers is enough to make anyone drool.

The laptop is powered by a 9th generation Intel Core i7 processor. The technical name is i7-9750H. The processor is a hex (6) core processor and has two threads per core. The processor has a base speed of 2.6 GHz and a maximum clock speed of 4.5 GHz.

The performance from the processor is so great that you won't find yourself wanting more power. The processor makes the laptop smooth to do all the daily tasks such as watching movies, office jobs, video editing and so on.

In the graphics department, the laptop features an Nvidia GTX 1650 graphics card. The graphics card is an upgrade over the outgoing 1050 from yesteryear. Though this is a replacement for 1050, the power that it packs is 70% more than the outgoing GTX 1050. That is a lot of power and with great power comes great gaming.

The laptop also features 8GB of DDR4 RAM which is enough for a few browser tabs and a lot of gaming. For storage, the laptop has a dual disk setup: a 128GB SSD paired with a 1 TB HDD. This great combo manages to balance performance and storage.

It has a 15.6" full HD screen. It has a resolution of 1920x1080 and offers theatre quality display. It also has anti-glare technology which prevents the light from reflecting on your face and is great for outdoor work.

The laptop weighs around 2.2 kgs and has a battery life of around 9 hours.

The laptop has one year of domestic warranty to keep your mind at ease.

A guide to picking the best gaming laptop under 100000

Lesson 1: Picking up a processor

It's i7 and always i7 when it comes to gaming. Who doesn't know that? I mean unless you have pockets deep enough to get an i9.

But, the thing is, not all i7's are the same.

Have you noticed that there are a lot of letters and numbers after the i7? What are they there for?

Let's take an example i7-7700K. The first 7 after the i7 shows the generation, so this is a 7th generation processor. And the newer the generation, the better it is. There is an exception to the first digit showing generation, which is for the tenth generation, obviously is 10 (2 digits).

The next three digits are just for SKUs says Intel. They are for stock-keeping purposes used by intel internally. That's one less thing to worry about.

Then comes the letters. k stands for unlocked, which means you can overclock it. And if it is a T it means power optimised. These are for full-size processors.

For laptops, H stands for high-performance graphics, HK which means high-performance graphics and unlocked, so you can overclock. HQ is high-performance graphics and quad-core. U is for ultra-low power.

Now you know all these, you are ready to pick the processor on your laptop.

Get a Ryzen if you're brave
Get a Ryzen if you're brave

Umm, if you're going for AMD, do a comparison on CPU benchmark or similar website. That way you'll find the best.

If you still didn't get it, read this article on which CPU should you buy?

Lesson 2: Picking up a graphics card

Anything greater than GTX 1660 is great. If you can get your hands on an RTX one, brilliant.

Go big on graphics card
Go big on graphics card

The first one on our list is an RTX one, and belive us when we say buy that. Just blindly buy that one. That's the best spec we have seen at around 1 lakh. And nothing can beat that at being the best gaming laptop under 1 lakh.

What is RTX? The RT in RTX stands for Ray Tracing. This is a cool technology. Let us explain what it is. When you play a game, what you  actually see is a series of images back to back which gives you the illusion of a video.

In traditional gaming systems, if there was light source on your back, then the shadow will obviously fall in front of you, and that was it. If you keep a mirror in front of you, and make the light to reflect back, then your front won't be illuminated. This was because, the path of the light is not traced beyond hitting the first surface.

But in animated movies and all, you might have seen the light coming reflected from the mirrors also. What Ray Tracing technology does is the same, it shows the reflections also.

Honestly if we had to buy a laptop at this price range, we will go with ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DV.

New RTX 30 series graphics card has been released recently and this should bring down the price of RTX 2060 laptops down.

Lesson 3: RAM, more the merrier

Go for 16GB RAM. That's the best.

Go bigger on RAM
Go bigger on RAM

8GB RAM also works, and since it is upgradable, we wouldn't worry much about it. I mean, you can get one any day you want.

And if you get 32GB of RAM. wow.

Lesson 4: Storage

Here more is not exactly merrier. Unless it is an SSD.

Get an SSD. Don't compromise on this. Defenitely get an SSD.

Always get an SSD
Always get an SSD

If you have a slot to put HDD, you can cramp in a 1TB or 2TB HDD. But otherwise, defenitely go for an SSD.

Lesson 5: Screen size

15" screens work. But if you think you need more go for 17". But at the end of the day, it is a personal choice.

Going for a bigger one will get you a bigger keyboard also. So if you are a fan of getting a larger keyboard, defenitely go for 17".

And defenitely get a monitor
And defenitely get a monitor

If you are going to get a monitor and a seperate keyboard, and want a laptop just because you want to carry it around, then we would prefer you get a smaller one. Get a huge monitor, and a mechanical keyboard so that you can play all day long and not damage your membrane keyboard on the laptop.

Oh, and while you're at it, don't forget to buy a cool mouse.

Lesson 6: Battery life

Gaming laptops generatlly have very little battery life. But if you have to move constantly get a laptop with a decent battery life. you might have to sacrifice a bit of performance, but you won't have to search for the plug whenever you have to meet someone for an hour.
